On December the 18th 2025, the UK Labour Government dropped any pretence of impartial professionalism where young children are concerned in its demented drive to alienate and subjugate schoolboys, because they are male!, Labour MP for Birmingham Yardley and now Parliamentary Under‑Secretary of State for Safeguarding & Violence Against Women and Girls went full war against young schoolboys in her latest act of purest misandry. Misandry is showing contempt for males. Misogyny is showing contempt for females.
Announcing the package in the Commons, Phillips said the strategy would deploy "the full force of the state" across local and national government to prevent VAWG.
She said the strategy was backed by £1bn funding for victims’ support. Updated guidance for schools backed by a £20,000,000 fund is due to be rolled out from September, specifies that pupils "should be equipped to recognise misogyny", as well as its links to violence against women and girls, and understand the importance of challenging it.
A Movement Becomes a Government Machine
Women’s Aid began life in the 1970s as a network of refuges run by volunteers helping women escape violent homes. Few would question the importance of that mission. When Labour returned to power in 2024, her appointment symbolised more than promotion — it signalled that Women’s Aid’s worldview had moved from the campaign trail into the ministerial corridor.
The reason why I have singled out Women’s Aid is because they are pivotal for so many upon entry to the family courts in the UK. Women’s Aid are the Domestic Violence agency embedded within so many councils in the UK. In constitution and practice they will only help ‘female survivors of domestic abuse.’ Their websites nowadays claim that they will also support male survivors of domestic abuse. In practice that either means gay men, or they will ‘screen’ men upon calling them for help to see if they are themselves abusers. They do not screen female callers!
If a female requests help from Women’s Aid, and her story is not convincing enough to gain an ex parte (without notice) injunction against her husband or male partner, Women’s Aid will eagerly assist with embellishing the story so that the ex parte injunction can be gained and quite often this opens the Legal Aid door for the woman. The father, even if he is the primary carer of the children is denied access to such service.
Women’s Aid are unregulated and unaccountable to either the police who so often house the agency or the local council that so generously funds and promotes them. They refuse to comply with Subject Access Requests!
Jess did the tour on December 18th, 2025, of all the TV stations proudly announcing the Govt’s response to the ‘National Emergency’ of violence against women and girls. Jess mentioned Andrew Tate, internet influencer, and Elon Musk, tech billionaire, many times as being bad examples of men because of their ‘misogyny.’
Jess talked about how the ‘patriarchal normative includes misogyny,’ and the need for the Govt to change this.
Teachers will be given training to spot and tackle misogyny in the classroom, while high-risk pupils could be sent on behavioural courses as part of the government's long-awaited strategy to halve violence against women and girls (VAWG) in the next decade.
Many primary schools have no male teachers whatsoever, and there are very few male teachers in secondary schools. What could go wrong?
Jess Phillips uses Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) as a vehicle of convenience to demonise all men and boys but refused a request from Oldham Council CEO to facilitate an official national inquiry into the sexual abuse, rape, and torture of over 1,400 vulnerable abused girls, mainly by Pakistani Muslim gangs in October 2024.
Jess also revealed that she had not met one of the girls so abused or read any of the court transcripts involved. Such dedication to duty! Incidentally, VAWG statistics include violence by women against men and boys under VAWG, thereby enhancing the stats even more in its anti-male money-spinning narrative.

The brazen contempt for young girls’ safety by Women’s Aid and Jess Phillips is staggering. Labour depends heavily on the Muslim vote; Women’s Aid depends on the Government for their 100’s of £m per annum.
One Labour MP told Sky News the issue had turned into a "political mess" and that they were being called "grooming sympathisers".
In addition, according to the British Crime Survey for England and Wales, violence by men against women has been steadily dropping for the past few years.
How can girls or children in general be made safer by concentrating on VAWG when more children including girls are killed by their mothers than their fathers (British Medical Journal review of 9,431 studies in 2017 into child homicide worldwide, 54.7% majority)?
In fact, violence by women against men is approx. 45-50%, yet Brent’s domestic violence service in constitution and practice will only help
‘female survivors of domestic abuse, (FOI letter to me September 22,2009).
Politically speaking, this is a brilliant exercise in deflection by the Labour Government.
But the unintended consequences of this bigotry will be disastrous for not just targeted schoolboys but also society.
