On October 13th, 2026, the Labour Government in the UK voted to remove the presumption in law that, following divorce or separation, continued direct or indirect contact with both parents was automatically in the child’s best interest.
If it cheers you up, I pronounced many curses on these MP’s who, for ideological reasons, have made matters worse for vulnerable children in the UK and directly caused yet more fathers to commit suicide when falsely separated from their children.
This interview between SKY TV and Dr Charlotte Proudman lasted for nearly 7 minutes. Dr Charlote Proudman is a self-styled glamorous feminist and vocal opponent at all times of men. Her ‘victim’ career was launched in September 2015 when, on Linkedin, she claimed victim status because a male solicitor stated that she looked stunning in her photo. Which she did.
The Guardian Newspaper in 2015 gave her huge coverage because of her ‘victim’ status.
How someone with her virulently anti- father mindset is a family law barrister but also be de facto embedded within Sky News as an ‘expert’ on the damage done to children by a continuing relationship with their father post-divorce or separation is way beyond my understanding of impartial professionalism.
As for Sarah Jane Mee of Sky TV, in my opinion, her level of callous bigotry against fathers, irrespective of the damage this does to children, renders her unfit to be a cleaner in a TV studio, let alone a senior news presenter. There was no counter- opinion, nobody (such as me), or anyone else who could have provided balance to this crude exercise in blatant anti dad bigotry.
Their allegation much repeated that children are more likely to be abused and killed by fathers is not borne out by Coroners reports or serious case reviews. I will present the evidence on this near the end of this blog.
50% of the over 60,000+ ‘contact’ orders made by the courts in 2002 were broken. 40% of fathers lost contact with their children within 2 years of being divorced.
1.24% of 4,654 applications were enforced in 2015. Ref: Hansard 28/3/17, Column 148. These orders were made in the ‘best interests of the child’.
That equates to a failure rate of 98.76% by family courts to enforce their own orders!
‘A society that makes it almost impossible for men to stay in the lives of their children has no right to judge those who choose foot looseness and alienation rather than insanity and despair’, John Waters, the Irish writer wrote.
For example, by the age of 15, 50% of children in the UK are not living with their father and do not consider him part of their family. In Finland, it is 95% who are living with their father, while the EU average is around 85%. The outcome of this institutional child abuse can easily be measured in the prison population when these children grow up. Hooray for good old-fashioned anti dad bigotry!
I had warned about the Labour government removing this presumption during my interview on the GB News Martin Daubney show in May 2024.
The Reason for the Repeal: The policy change stems from findings by the government's own Harm Panel Report and tireless advocacy by domestic abuse survivors? Evidence showed that a rigid "pro-contact" court culture frequently led to unsafe arrangements, exposing children to abusive environments or coercive control.
Evidence from Prof Tommy MacKay also shows that 70% of allegations in the Scottish family courts are false. In my lengthy experience, the same applies in England.
Let us look at the composition of the Harms Panel Report:
Eleven females, Women’s Aid were represented twice, and two men: one being Mr Justice Cobb, who has publicly stated that enforcement orders are unhelpful in the family courts, and Mr Stephen Blakelock, a director of a domestic violence programme for men only as perpetrators, who was touting for business.

Women’s Aid is hugely funded, to the tune of approx. £300m. It operates outside accountability of both local council and police, and yet it is the accredited domestic violence provider in so many especially poorer areas, usually Labour run.
In its constitution and practice, it will only help female survivors of domestic abuse. Yet, in 2025, the office for national statistics reported that domestic violence perpetration in the UK was 42% female and 58% male.
I blogged about this under Racketeering in July 2026. Basically, a Marxist Feminist cabal controls the domestic violence industry in the UK. Historical similarities exist with those noted bastions of equality, the Ku Klux Klan and the 1930’s German National Socialist Workers Party. One hated blacks and Catholic’s, the other hated Jews, and both claimed to be protecting society from evil!
For example, Women’s Aid in 2016, ran a major campaign titled 19 child homicides. They were blaming family courts for allowing children to be killed following court ordered contact.
Dr Richard Bradford diligently investigated this claim and discovered that it was extremely dishonest. In the same number of years used by Women’s Aid, it was established that 330, later amended to 332, children had been killed by parents. Most importantly, the greater number of perpetrators were mothers, not fathers!
As if that were not bad enough, Women’s Aid produced this report 2 months after 2 beautiful children were killed in one of their refuges by their mother, “who wanted to hurt the father.”
In the UK, violence by women against men is listed under Violence Against Women and Girls, (VAWG). For VAWG, one could replace the Nazi slogan Sieg Hail with Hail Vawg!
It is apparent that Women’s Aid and the Labour government wish to continue hurting fathers and children for the crudest of ideological reasons.
